Ed has 30 years of experience in the IT industry including mining simulations, training, software sales, laboratory systems, payrolls, mining stores systems, just in time and manufacturing resource planning, financial, and information databases. While at the CSIR he developed, patented, evangelised and marketed the WorldNet Gateway software which provided access to the world’s databases before the internet was universally available. Ed has sold and managed supply chain software for a number of large multinationals that have highly complex logistic requirements and offices across Africa.
